Rather than the Pentecostal revivals they may tell you that they trace their roots back to the 1948 move of the Spirit.

It doesn't look like *too* much has changed ... they require women to wear head-coverings ... women are sub-servient to men ... believers must speak in tongues ... they must submit to those "over" them in the church, and remain "in the Move" (no close associations outside that particular church). Bless their hearts ... them thar's enough red-flags for me. One day we'll all know we can *really* trust God to lead us from within, rather than through humans, without.

(Dean -- if this is a group with whom you have ties, please know that I don't mean to offend you ... it's just that I have to follow Jesus in the way He leads me ... and I'm quite open to hearing how I may have misunderstood about this group -- I would not separate from you, them, or anyone ... I just know what I've been brought out of, and He has my heart.)

Dena,
No offense taken. We are all on a different journey to the same place.

Though it is the solitary who will find the kingdom, I am grateful that this generation may not have to face the isolation that some in previous generations have faced.

Most organized religion has a degree of outward form, ritual, or structures. But in Christ we are all free. We come out that we might enter in for All things are in Him. The old has passed away. In Him we discover all things are made new. Now can be seen "Christ in all" so it is possible to be comfortable wherever. We can fellowship wherever.

I also like the thought that we all are raised up together far above all principality and power so it is hard to be threatened by forms, rituals, or power structures, or by those who would try to exercise power inappropriately.

We don’t need anyone to teach us. We have the anointing that abides within. We have need of nothing. Christ is all. Like you say, "One day we'll all know we can *really* trust God to lead us from within, rather than through humans, without." Until then I will be patient

With that anointing that abides within we are all intimately connected and we grow together and increase as we do our part to edify and awaken every part.

I am grateful to God for the process of restoration and revelation that continues to touch my friends in this fellowship, even as God has touched me, and everyone else on their journey.

Bind us all together in one with cords that cannot be broken,
URfriend,
Dean Johnson

You are a most gracious and optimistic man, Dean (& you have a fabulous name, LOL!).

I can't tell you how many times I type "Dean" instead of "Dena" when I sign my name online...! ;)

We're going to be fabulous friends, you and I, and evidence unity even without unanimity!

Shalom, Dena

We can never have too many friends.

Dean

P.S. I was happy to see you and others signing up at Transmillenial.

Just as I was to find folks who are Transmillennial-minded...!

I went last year, and can't wait to go this year...!

BTW, Byron, I'm Annie's "twin" too, so I'm guessing you and I are related...! ;)

Shalom, Dena

Look...I was her twin before either of you two came along :-)

annie has been one of the biggest influences on my life...spiritually and in more practical matters too. She has been a great friend through a lot of personal turmoil. We have kind of evolved together...having met on the WUF about...5 years ago...and pretty much see most things the same way...at about the same time. We've also gotten together a few times in "real life" and that was great too. Everytime I communicate with her online I have a face to go with the name.

I'm grateful that you're willing to share, Cindi...!

You're one of my heros, too.

Maybe, just maybe ... we all came from the same "litter"...?!? ;)

Arf!

Okay, we're quadruplets, until the 'next' twin comes forward!
Hi Cindi, I mean, sis...

We are all identical twins of the living Jesus and the New Jerusalem is the mother of us all.
